Foundations of Work

Some organizations know exactly where they're headed. Others are still working that out. Foundations of Work meets you at both moments.

WHAT IT IS

A structured four-phase consulting engagement designed to meet your team where they are — and build the collaborative structures, working modes, and shared direction needed to move forward together effectively.

Change is a necessary ingredient for the longevity of an organization. Foundations of Work helps teams build the skills needed to embrace adaptation from the ground up — not because they were told to, but because they understand why it matters.

STRUCTURE — 4 PHASES

PHASE 1

Direction

Understanding your goals and future state — where you're going and what getting there actually requires.

PHASE 2

Reflection

Individuals examine current working modes through SLVY's Time Awareness Tool, followed by a 1:1 session to explore personal working modes and capability.

PHASE 3

Collaboration

A two-day in-person workshop to build new working modes and a shared plan of action — built by the people who will use it.

PHASE 4

Recommendation

An Executive Summary with directional markers, next steps, and potential emerging leaders identified for further investment.

FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS - PICK TWO

Every organization has room to grow in communication, collaboration, and strategy. In Phase 1, we assess all three dimensions together. You select two, and we build the engagement around those.

Communication

How your team shares information, surfaces friction, and builds shared understanding

Collaboration

How your team works across functions, makes decisions together, and holds each other accountable

Strategy

How your team connects daily work to shared direction — and acts on it without being told to

OUTCOMES

A team that understands where you're going and why their work matters to getting there.

Emerging leaders identified and ready for more responsibility.

A mutual accountability framework your team built together — which means they'll actually use it. Whether that looks like a new technology tool, a communication strategy that cuts meeting time, or a shared plan for entering a new market, the change is visible, measurable, and held up by the people who created it.

Human-centered, for progress

Investing in your most valuable asset, your people.
